The difference a week makes

We're having a baby!  Our new (non-furry) family member will be here July 10th!

Here are pics I've taken of my belly so far.

The house is complete

Edit:

Fil hated the gray and I wasn't fond of it, so we repainted the door and sutters. Here is the final FINAL result...

Not sure how I'm feelin' about the sutter color. It is different than I expected. Sooooo, we'll see if I end up painting it over myself. Overall though, the house looks great.

Starting to calm down...

They did the body color on the front of the house (far from finished) but you can get an idea of the color. I feel like (even though we had to spend extra $$ on the new color) that it was a good choice. I couldn't drive up to a house I hated every day!

Here is the color I made them stop painting. It looks WHITE

Here is the original color:

New Color: Much less blue

It think it will look nice once we have the shutters painted black and the trim repainted white.

Crisis Averted!

I stopped the painters today because the color we chose was horrible. It looked white. Thank god the guy asked me if that was the color I wanted (he thought it looked a little light too). After talking to the head contractor guy, the paint guys sending me off to get samples, putting the samples up, and so on...we have come to the consensus that we like the top color. So that color it is! Not the best picture, but you get the idea.

Progress makes perfect!

The paint was delievered and they have about 1/3 of the trim done. Lets hope it continues at this pace! I am so glad we hired someone. there is no way we could have done this ourselves! The wooden skriting is covering up the cuts they made when removing the wood rot. It will be done to all 3 sides of the house. The front will stay stucco.
